DaVinci Resolve: Introduction to Colour Correction

This introductory course will have students colour correcting samples of provided footage in this guided workshop. Topics discussed include how to normalize footage using an appropriate LUT, balancing footage to match in a scene, and an introduction to secondary corrections such as selective saturation and vignettes.

This course is accessible to beginners who haver never used Unreal Engine before, but also useful for experienced users who want to get an overview of the cinematic tools that the engine offers.

DaVinci Resolve - Introduction to Fusion VFX
December 12 & December 19, 10am-1pm

Students will learn a basic overview of the Fusion interface and workflow. An animated title exercise will introduce the motion graphics capabilities of the software. Students will also participate in a sign-replacement exercise in which logos on a vehicle are replaced. Lastly, we will explore the basics of green screen compositing.
