Leading industry associations, guilds and screen-related companies come to the SIRT Centre at Pinewood Toronto Studios because it is the premier digital cinema testing and demo facility in Canada. From production to display, industry professionals train on, help develop and test next-gen technology. Our facility is home to a full-time staff of industry experts and state-of-the-art equipment with additional support on a project-by-project basis from industry-immersed faculty and up-and-coming student talent.
Equipment includes:
- Arri Alexa and two Sony F65s with matched lenses for use with our 3D Tango mirror rig
- A Christie 4K digital cinema projector capable of High Frame Rate projection
- 22-foot white and silver screens for 2D and 3D display using RealD and MasterImage 3D systems
- Clipster Digital Intermediate workstation for ingest to Digital Cinema Package creation
