This project focuses on the potential role new forms of immersive and interactive visualization technologies in Virtual Reality (VR) have on the development of empathy and consequent social action. We’re creating multiple VR experiences in partnership with social issue organizations and key VR technology and content companies. Each experience focuses on a specific social issue of local, national or global significance. Our goals are to identify ways that VR can affect behaviour in all aspects of life, institutions and government, and to create best practices for the use of VR as a means to foster increased social action.
