On May 18-19th, SIRT student researchers and staff attended the Ontario Centres of Excellence Discovery 11 Conference at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. With almost 2,500 attendees and over 325 exhibitors, the conference provided an opportunity for student and professional innovators from many sectors to connect and learn about emerging Canadian technology solutions. Through speakers and exhibitions, the event showcased some of the best examples of innovation leadership in Canada.
SIRT presented its 3D Virtual Camera Controller, which allows users to control camera movement and angles within a virtual 3D scene, and helped introduce attendees to the rapidly-developing field of 3D production and previsualization.
